Valentine's Day

A SURPRISE!! b'dae bash...

Firstly,Celebrating valentine's day..
Well, to show my appreciation to my friends

I baked them chocolate muffins..

And for that special someone(Esther),

I baked her a chocolate cake,

created and wrote her an original poem..

After school, I went back to class...

body..However, I really had fun and i appreciate

Hello everybody,once again i apologise for erm,the funeral of my blog for quite some time(okrite fine a month or so)..I'll revive it on the

14th feb

(valentine's day)

15th feb

(total defence day/my 15th b'day)..

Reason being is that i'll be more inspired to write during this period as it has a lot of memorialable events during that period(i think)..

I'll change my blogskin,profile and especially,add entries...

twilight
Before ending the year,2008,I plan to write a post about the last few weeks of 2008..

Now, from what you can see from the title,I spent most of the last few weeks of

2008 watching,talking and listening to anything that has got to do

with the movie,'Twilight'.

To be frank with you guys,I hated twilight and got irritated everytime anyone talks about the

book.However,I changed my perspective after watching the movie for the first time..So i

began to read the book..After finishing about one-quarter of the book,I wanted to watch

twilight again and compare the book and the movie..As time flew by,and I completed

reading the book,I have to say that i realised that the book has much more intensity

and feeling then the movie.Moreover,to made sure that i was making the right

judgement,I went to watch the movie again..So in total,I've watched the

movie thrice and still had the same judgement

about the book and the movie..

What changed my life after this marvelous vampire love story?Well,3 things I was sure about.

Firstly,I was moved by the love story between Bella and Edward and how

difficult but possible to fall in love with the right person

Secondly,I gain my passion for acting & writing

Lastly,I am amazed that I fell in love with reading books

To sum it all up, Twilight is a story which every individual can relate to,and after they come out of that cinema or flip the last page of twilight,they will learn the importance of their love ones and especially cherish every moment with their friends and family.

As 2008 says goodbye,I hope that 2009 will be a life like twilight for you and hope that next year you wouldn't reach the

twilight of your life..

DAY 5

Fifth day of the trip,oh well lets just enjoy today..We basically had 1 mjor event,go to the airport and fly back to Singapore...But before our trip was over,we had some fun with the fishes and the seafood in a fish market..We were give 15 bucks to buy our own lunch..

Then its off to the Sydney Iternational Airport and make our way back home..

DAY 4

The days goes by so fast,now was the fourth day of our trip..3 activities today..and all the members were is up for more workshop,performance and interaction with the people in Sydney..

The first part of our day,A Drama workshop at Sydney's National Institute Of Dramatic Arts(NIDA)There, we learnt how to express every emotions and put them into body language without words and sound effect..We learnt how to be crazy and control our emotions and body positions when needed to correspond with the characters and his/her other actors/actresses..

Then we went to a shopping mall to shop and buy stuff for our family and friends..However, before we did so, we went to a medium-sized shop to learn about the aboriginal culture in Australia..We learnt about the instrucments and paintings they do..

After we went shopping and stuff for like 2 hours, we got tired so we went outside the mall where there was such a nice view for picture-taking..

Then,our favourite past-time,watching live musical..

We went to The NewTheatre for(drum roll),'Little Shop of Horrors'

This musical is a must watch musical..Though the movie is average,I'm sure the stage musical of the story will be dazzled and amzed by how talented this talents are..

DAY 3
On the third day of our trip, we did the same old morning routine we did on the second day..Ate our breakfast and blah blah..There were 2 main activities we had plan for today..Firstly, a drama workshop @ Sydney Theatre company for young people & a theatre show at the Sydney Opera

House

Firstly, going to Sydney Theatre Company for Young People for our drama workshop..well along the way,we took some pictures of some common landmarks and buildings in Sydney..

We came in early for the Drama workshop so we had to wait..No worries, while waiting we had a romantic time at the sea..

After waiting for a few minutes, we had our workshop and i have to say it was so awesome..and I can see that the Syf team were very determine to grasp the skills and techniques we will need for our SYF'09..and whatever award we will get,i will be happy for it cause i can see the effort we put in the skit..However, the results are not out and SYF have not started so anything can still happen so all those people in SYF'drama in Bedok North,please don't put away what we've learnt in Sydney..Good luck:)

After the Drama Workshop

After 3-4 hours of developing drama and acting skills, we had our lunch which was near-by the theatre we had our Drama workshop..We had a huge burger for lunch..

After filling our stomach with a huge burger, we head to the Sydney Opera House for a theatre production entitled,'The Pig Iron People'.

This production was difficult for me to understand as most of there jokes and issues are a local issues and humour that the local Australians would be interested..However, i have to give a positive comment on their props,settings and the actors & actresses' acting skills, it was way to the top Fabulous..

Then, we were guided by a tour guide in Sydney Opera House to tour around the Opera House..Well, pictures speaks louder than works so here are the pictures of our tour:

After a long day, we went to a near-by Mongolian restaurant and ate our dinner..After that, me and Liyana bought a birthday cake for Nazurah & Amirah's 15Th Birthday..And all the drama club members celebrated their birthday in their hotel room:
